A lot of care and attention goes into keeping a baby's bottom smooth, clean and healthy. However, it can be a problem area because it is an area which is warm and often wet - a good place for germs to grow.
Here's a 3-step routine to keep your baby's bottom healthy
Step 1: Change your baby's diaper as soon as it gets soiled
Step 2: Clean your baby's bottom with lukewarm water during each diaper
change (use only mild soap when necessary, as all soaps strip
baby's skin of important natural oils) Clean from front to back
as it helps prevent the spread of germs
Step 3: Allow your baby's bottoms to remain open to fresh air for a few
minutes every day during diaper change
